Keep Warm This Winter With Furry Boots!
We’re only a few days into winter, but it seems as if everyone is freezing, snowed in, or somehow affected by this cold weather. (Even in Southern California, it’s been cold and rainy! And, well, we’re just not used to that! Haha!) So how do we keep warm, keep our feet healthy, and still look good at the same time? Well…let me show you! I’ve been on the lookout for the warmest, coziest, furriest boots currently for sale, and here are some great finds!

Why do our feet smell?
Foot care does not rank high on our preferences and if we think patiently they are among the parts of our body we ignore the most. Just sit back and think when was the last time you did something for making your feet better except for clipping your toe nails and buying new socks and expensive shoes. Even buying new expensive shoes has nothing to do with providing comfort to our feet but it is only to show the world that we are successful. With such careless attitude, a zillion things can go wrong with our feet and repellent smell originating form our feet is all but one of them.
Feet odor is a very common problem. You would be shocked to know that every third person in the world is subject to his or her feet being smelly. This makes around 2.7 billion people on this planet that have feet odor problem and yet we do not take it seriously. We do not think even about what can causes of bad feet odor be, let alone trying to eliminate this odor. Internet, print and electronic media has an equal part to play in this negligence of foot care because they promote all kinds of skin care, hair care and body care products and information but there is not a slightest mention of subjects included in foot care such as causes of bad feet odor or their solution.
The smell emanating from our feet is caused by the combination of sweat and bacteria. As you know bacteria are germs and they are present everywhere. Our feet also produce quite a considerable amount of sweat every day due to over 250,000 sweat glands located in our feet. We feel a repellent smell coming from our feet because of the sweat getting combined with the bacteria and that is why it goes away with washing. But it is embarrassing and you cannot keep washing your feet all the times at all the places.
You might be thinking now that there are bacteria and sweat on all your body parts so how come our other parts do not smell and feet does smell? The answer is pretty simple, one is that we apply body deodorants and expensive perfumes on our upper body to eliminate the smell of sweat but we do not do the same with our feet. The next reason is that our hands and face are quite well ventilated which does not allow the sweat to stagnate and get mixed with bacteria to start smelling. On the other hand, feet remain trapped in closed shoes and socks for better part of the day this lets the bacteria work with our sweat without ventilation to make our feet smell.
Another reason of smelling feet might be the bacteria thriving in warm and moist places. When we sit in air conditioned rooms, our upper body is not exactly in damp or warm place and therefore, bacteria does not thrive as well there but the story is different with our feet. Our feet are in shoes for long hours which allow bacteria to thrive and work on our sweat to cause bad smell. This is why our feet smell whereas other body parts do not.
